Hopefully right now u got ur team set up 2 make the playoffs. It's all about getting in and your guyz gettin hot 2 end the season. Here are some guyz 2 make a move 4 and some sleeperz u could store and hope 4 gold.
Dwayne Bowe - Calvin Johnson - I was real big on these guyz being in the class of the yung money wide outs taking over the league along wit Roddy White and VJax. Well these 2 are on rebuilding teams and it hasn't been nice so far. But that doesn't mean these 2 can't catch fire 2 end the season. Which is what I think they both can do as they will be playing for garbage time stats and trying to end the season on a high note 4 themselves. Megatron has been hampered by the knee injury, but finally played last week and seems 2 be recovered. He didn't have a good game, but he was targeted 9 times. Stafford being injured 2/they have lost their chemistry- but that should come back soon. Bowe has had 2 deal with all kinds of changes in KC. But now LJ is gone, they bring in Chambers who can hopefully take some pressure off Bowe and Haley luvz 2 throw the rock. Both guys will be on the late passing game trying 2 make it look close tip and with nice match ups could both help bring a fantasy title 4 your squad. The owners of these guyz have 2 be frustrated and if u make them a descent offer - it could be big time.
Jonathan Stewart/Bernard Scott/Shonn Greene - Ur probably saying these guys aren't really doing anything. Stewart had a couple of nice games, but come on! Well if u noticed, these guyz are all on dominate running teams and are the backups 2 the primary backs. All of them register a chance 2 get in the end zone weekly due to their offenses, but imagine one of the starters going down 4 these teams. They step into top tier potential because of their O-Line. DWill is already dealing with an injury, Stewart would be a beast getting starter carries. People quickly 4get about Greene b/c he played bad before the bye, but with Leon Washington out, he is gonna see a good amount of touches and you saw what he did in Oakland. Scott is the sleeper rookie, but if you've seen this kid on film, he has all the tools 2 be a dangerous back. He moves like Chris Johnson without the supersonic speed, but if Benson goes down (they play the Steele curtain this weekend) - who knowz, Scott could make a name for himself quickly. He should start getting touches either way.
Chris Chambers - Malcom Floyd/Legedu Naanee - Devery Henderson/Robert Meachem - Some waiver wire wide out pick ups are WR2 on their squad, but mentioned in the paragraph above, are 1 injury away from being the number1 wide out on high octane passing teams. KC is bad, but Cassell had his best game last week and Haley knows how to move the rock passing the ball. Now that Chambers and Bowe are paired up, they could keep defenses more honest. The Chargers have so many weapons and these 2 are hit or miss right now, but teams are having to pay more attention on VJax and Gates. This could leave some nice opportunities for Floyd and Naanee. Floyd becomes VJax if he goes down. Henderson is the ultimate boom or bust wide out. I think he could be used this week against STL and like I've preached throughout this column, if Colston goes down - Henderson and Meachem are must adds! U gotta think ahead about these things b/c most leagues you'd have 2 put a waiver bid in if someone goes down and everybody will be aware of adding @ that time. If u got room, I suggest a handcuff if u have the best options, but if u got the room 2 store some guys - do it now and hopefully thank your lucky starz later...
Brandon Pettigrew - Fred Davis It's been the year of the TE. It seems every week some middle of the road TE has a nice game. While Gates and Witten are just being mediocre. If u need a backup TE or a bye week fill in. These 2 young gunners could be nice. If you've watched the Lions play, you'll notice Pettigrew is the biggest MoFo on the field, he shields off DBacks. he is gonna be a beast 1 day. He had a nice game last week and could end up being a sleeper. Same goes with Davis. Very athletic and stepping into Cooley's shoes, he will be targeted often. Plus these 2 are playing with young Qbz who rely on the TE heavily.
